Rajasthan Management Admission
Test (RMAT) 2006
Applications are invited for admission to the two year MBA course
for the session 2006-07 for state quota in the management
institutions of Rajasthan through a common test. The admission is
open to candidates of Rajasthan domicile only.
There are 40 institutions covered by RMAT-2006 which include Govt.
aided university departments are institutions are AICTE approved
unaided private institutions. Number of institutions and intake
capacity may increase, AICTE approval and University affiliation
in given to more institutions in future.
Eligibility: Graduation (10+2+3) or equivalent from any
University with at least 50% marks without any approximation (for
SC/ST/OBC 45%). Provisional approval for appearing in RMAT would
be granted to candidates taking final year graduation examination
in 2006.
Reservation: 16%, 12% and 21% for SC, ST and OBC
candidates, respectively. Horizontal reservation of 3% for
physically handicapped, 25% for girls and 3% for ex-servicemen,
and Kashmiri Migrants (one seat in each institutions). Category
once indicated at the time of submission of application form will
not be changed in any case.
RMAT information Bulletin along with Application Form will be
available for sale from Friday, the 24th March, 2006 on
Monday, the 1st May, 2006 at the Centers mentioned
below against a payment for Rs. 1000/- in the form of an A/c Payee
Demand Draft in favour of the Coordinator, RMAT-2006, drawn at
Udaipur. Application form can also be obtained from Office of the
Coordinator at Udaipur BY POST up to Monday, the 24th
April, 2006 by send in an A/c Payee DD for Rs. 1050/- in favour of
the Coordinator, RMAT-2006 drawn at Udaipur.
Candidates are advised to see RMAT-2006 information bulletin and
website carefully for institution-wise specific details and other
instructions. The candidates may download the application form
from the website

www.mlsu.org and submit along with a DD of Rs. 1000/-
Last Date: Last date for receipt of completed RMAT application
RMAT application at the counters of the above institutions or by
post to the Coordinator, RMAT-2006, University College of Science,
Mohan Lal Sukhadia University, Udaipur 313001 is Monday, the 8th
May, 2006. Applications received after the due date will be
rejected out rightly and university shall not be responsible for
any postal delays.
