###Three-Day 46th ROSCON-24 Conference Begins

*Udaipur* – The 46th annual conference of the Rajasthan Ophthalmological Society, ROSCON-24, began on November 8 at Hotel Inder Residency in Udaipur. Conference Secretary Dr. Lakshman Singh Jhala stated that the event aims to set new benchmarks in the field of ophthalmology and address future challenges and complexities in eye care. Over 500 ophthalmologists are attending the conference, including 30 specialists from different parts of India who will share their expertise and experiences to benefit all attendees.

Society Chairman Dr. Vishal Agarwal highlighted that the conference's primary objective is to introduce the latest technologies in eye care to practitioners and educate them on the benefits and applications of these advancements. Additionally, the conference aims to address the challenges and complexities in the field by facilitating discussions with senior ophthalmologists.

A notable feature of the event is the participation of 150 resident doctors from the state, who are expanding their knowledge through lectures by seasoned experts. The conference provides them with insights into new techniques, treatments, and advancements in ophthalmology, making it an invaluable experience for those pursuing a career in eye care.

A live broadcast of various eye surgeries conducted at Alakh Nayan Eye Temple was showcased at the conference, allowing participants to observe the latest surgical techniques in real-time.

Dr. Agarwal added that Professor T.T. Ali from AIIMS, New Delhi, will also be present to share his knowledge and experience with attendees, and will be honored by the Rajasthan Ophthalmic Committee. The conference is chaired by Dr. Ghulam Ali, Secretary of the Rajasthan Ophthalmological Society, and Dr. Sanjeev Desai.
