#### Adopting Digital Mediums for Business is the Need of the Hour: Prof. Meera Mathur

 

Udaipur, November 8, 2025 — “You cannot sell your product without understanding consumer emotions. Emotions are far more powerful than logic, and branding has the power to influence them,” said Professor Meera Mathur while addressing a seminar at the Udaipur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UCCI).

The seminar on Digital Marketing was jointly organized by UCCI and the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Mohanlal Sukhadia University. Experts from FMS, Dr. Bhumika Rathore and Dr. Nikita Mata, shared insights on Neuro-Marketing and New Marketing Methodologies.

In his welcome address, UCCI President Manish Galundia highlighted that the session aimed to guide entrepreneurs on utilizing innovative marketing techniques for business growth. The experts were introduced by UCCI Honorary Secretary Ashish Chhabda, who also conducted the proceedings.

During the session, Dr. Nikita Mata elaborated on the importance of digital marketing in today’s competitive era, emphasizing that online visibility is essential for brand success. Dr. Bhumika Rathore, an HRM and Business Development Consultant associated with premier institutions such as IIM Udaipur and Ahmedabad, discussed Neuro-Marketing as a modern approach that focuses on human emotions to enhance business communication and development.

FMS Director Prof. Meera Mathur underscored that marketing through social media and digital platforms is today’s most essential business requirement. She stated, “We have entered an age of digital marketing, sales, communication, and transactions that will only expand further. Entrepreneurs must, therefore, prioritize the digital marketing of their products and services.”

Addressing queries from participants, Prof. Mathur advised respecting employee emotions while adopting digital tools and also cautioned about their responsible use.

The seminar, attended by over 40 participants, concluded with a vote of thanks by Honorary Secretary Ashish Chhabda.
