New Delhi /At the National Education Conclave 2025, held on 6–7 August at the Thyagaraj Sports Complex in New Delhi, Mrs. Simranjeet Kaur Bhatia, Principal of Golden Rays Public School, Sriganganagar, was honoured with the prestigious national title of “Principal of the Year 2025”.
The award was conferred by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India, in recognition of her exceptional contribution to education, her innovative approach, and her inspiring leadership. The event brought together eminent educationists, principals, and academicians from across the country.
An internationally recognised educator, Mrs. Bhatia is a specialist in CBSE and IB curricula, an experienced PGT in English, CBSE Board Examination Coordinator (CS/CNS), and a renowned Teacher Trainer. She has played a key role in promoting digital teaching strategies, student-centric learning plans, and continuous teacher development.
Her workshops empower teachers with innovative strategies, emotional intelligence, and 21st-century teaching skills. From creating the school magazine and prospectus to providing career counselling, her contributions span every sphere of education. She has led impactful sessions on Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and modern teaching skills at Sophia School, Ajmer, and received recognition at St. Paul’s School, Beawar, for her transformative teacher training programmes.
Internationally, she was honoured with the Innovative Leadership Award at the Parliament of Norway. She also conducted an extensive mental health workshop for over 400 teachers of RSV Group of Schools, Bikaner, focusing on emotional empowerment, stress management, and mental resilience.
