Himalaya Parivar and OBC Mahapanchayat Protest Against Pahalgam Massacre, Effigy Burning at Jyotiba Phule Tiraha

Udaipur: In a strong demonstration against the recent massacre of 27 Hindu tourists in Pahalgam, Kashmir, members of Himalaya Parivar and the Sarv OBC Samaj Mahapanchayat gathered at Jyotiba Phule Tiraha in Mali Colony to voice their outrage.

Arvind Jaroli, State Secretary of Himalaya Parivar, Raman Kumar Sood, State Vice President, and Dinesh Mali, Founder of Sarv OBC Samaj Mahapanchayat, addressed the crowd, condemning the Pakistan-sponsored terrorist attack. They emphasized that the brutal killing of innocent tourists—targeted based on their Hindu identity—was not only an attack on India but also a blow to global humanity.

"This barbaric act of asking for religious identity and killing those who could not recite the Kalma is reminiscent of the brutalities witnessed in Syria and Iraq," the speakers stated. They further demanded that the Indian government take strong military and diplomatic action against Pakistan to prevent such heinous acts in the future.

During the protest, hundreds of participants formed a human chain and set effigies of Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, General Asim Munir, and terrorist Hafiz Saeed ablaze. The gathering also held a two-minute silence and lit candles to pay tribute to the victims, followed by the recitation of the Gayatri Mantra and floral offerings.

The event saw the participation of several prominent figures, including former BJP Mandal President Jitendra Maru, former National Secretary of Rashtriya Sikh Sangat Virendra Singh Arora, Dharavati Suwalka, Vice President of Patel Samaj P.S. Patel, B.D. Kumawat, Lions Club President Dinesh Kumar Mali, and Swadeshi Jagran Manch Convenor Ramesh Purohit.

The protest was coordinated by Maniben Patel, with Divakar Mali delivering the vote of thanks.
