Dr. Vipin Mathur Delivers Lecture on Causes and Remedies of Abdominal Diseases

Under the joint aegis of Vigyan Samiti and Prof. Suresh Chandra Mehta Memorial Foundation, the Prof. Surendra Chandra Mehta Memorial Lecture was organized. The keynote speaker was Dr. Vipin Mathur, Principal of RNT Medical College. The Chief Guest was Dr. Ajeet Karnatak, Vice Chancellor of Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, while the session was presided over by renowned endocrinologist Dr. D.C. Sharma.

Media Coordinator Prof. Vimal Sharma informed that Shri Mahesh, Shri Dinesh Mehta, and Virendra Jain welcomed the guests by presenting shawls, angavastrams, and mementos. The welcome address was delivered by Dr. Maheep Bhatnagar, President of Vigyan Samiti. Dr. K.L. Kothari, Head of the Committee, shared fond memories and intellectual contributions of Prof. Suresh Mehta, both in prose and poetry. The program was conducted by Dr. K.P. Talesra, and a vote of thanks was extended by Foundation Coordinator Shri Arvind Mehta.

Delivering the keynote lecture, Dr. Vipin Mathur elaborated on the types, causes, diagnosis, and remedies of abdominal diseases. He shared valuable insights on maintaining a healthy lifestyle and spoke about the art of disciplined living. Emphasizing small yet crucial daily habits, he advised on drinking sufficient water, avoiding alcohol, reducing salt and sugar intake, consulting doctors rather than self-medicating, and including fiber-rich foods in the diet.

Chief Guest Dr. Ajeet Karnatak underlined the significance of coarse grains in a healthy diet, while Chairman Dr. D.C. Sharma shared effective measures to control diabetes.

The event was graced by members of the city's industrial and business community, along with members of Vigyan Samiti and the Memorial Foundation
