Adopt ‘Made in India’ to Realize the Vision of a Global Leader — Gautam Dak

Udaipur. — The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Udaipur City District organized the Self-Reliant India Campaign Conference for the Udaipur City Assembly constituency at Madan Mohan Malviya Ayurveda College, Ambamata. The program began at 9:00 AM with a floral tribute to the statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at Patel Circle on the occasion of his 150th birth anniversary.

Media in-charge Dr. Seema Champawat informed that the event was presided over by BJP City District President Gajpal Singh Rathore, with Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) Chunnilal Garasia as the Chief Guest.

Addressing the gathering as the keynote speaker, Cooperation and Civil Aviation Minister Gautam Dak said that the progress India has made towards self-reliance since 2014 has been possible under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “Aatmanirbhar Bharat is not merely a slogan—it represents the pride of every Indian and the spirit of national progress. Only when every citizen embraces ‘Made in India’ will the nation fulfill its vision of becoming a global leader,” he emphasized.

All four Mandal Presidents—Ruchika Jain (Sunder Singh Bhandari Mandal), Vijay Ahuja (Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Mandal), Kanhaiya Vaishnav (Rana Pratap Mandal), and Digpal Singh (Ambedkar Mandal)—shared details of their efforts to spread the message of Aatmanirbhar Bharat to every household.

District President Gajpal Singh Rathore highlighted that India has emerged as a leading nation globally, becoming self-reliant in defense, communication, healthcare, and vaccination sectors.

Conference Convenor Takhat Singh Shaktawat remarked that self-reliance should not remain just a concept but should become a way of life. He urged party workers to be role models in promoting the use of indigenous products.

State Cooperation Cell Convenor Pramod Samar stated that for India to become a developed nation, it must adopt swadeshi and move towards complete self-reliance with collective responsibility.

The event was conducted by District General Secretary Paras Singhvi.

Those present included MP Chunnilal Garasia, City MLA Tarachand Jain, Rural MLA Phool Singh Meena, State Cooperation Convenor Pramod Samar, District In-Charge Banshilal Khatik, State Disaster Management Convenor Dr. Jinendra Shastri, former District President Ravindra Shrimali, former District Vice President Atul Chandalia, District Vice President Digvijay Shrimali, Hansa Mali, Shambhu Gameti, and District General Secretary Paras Singhvi. Also in attendance were Devilal Salvi, Dr. Pankaj Borana, Co-Convenor and Vice President Jagdish Sharma, District Ministers Tushar Mehta, Siddharth Sharma, Khushboo Malviya, Ashok Sharma, Spokespersons Govind Dixit, Om Parikh, Vijay Dalal, Ashok Nagda, Mandal Presidents Ruchika Chaudhary, Ranjit Singh, Digpal Singh, Vijay Ahuja, Kanhaiya Vaishnav, Archana Sharma, as well as numerous district officials, councillors, former councillors, booth presidents, and senior party workers.

The conference witnessed an enthusiastic presence of senior leaders, prominent citizens, and dedicated BJP workers from across the region.
