Special Awareness Program Organized in Peepalwas

Udaipur – Under the Department of Women Empowerment, the Mahila Suraksha Evam Salah Kendra (Women Safety and Counseling Center) operated by Vikalp Sansthan conducted a special awareness program at the Government Senior Secondary School, Peepalwas.

Legal Counselor Mamta Goswami from Police Station Nai addressed the students on issues related to domestic violence, exploitation, and sexual harassment. She explained in detail the functioning of the counseling center and emphasized the importance of becoming strong and alert to prevent incidents of sexual harassment. Students were advised to immediately inform their teachers or parents if they face or anticipate any such problem.

She also shared important helpline numbers – Police Helpline: 100, 102, Child Helpline: 1098, Women Helpline: 181, and created awareness about Good Touch–Bad Touch and the Sakhi One Stop Center.
