"Nation's Development Depends on Manufacturing Industry" – Prashant Sinha

Udaipur – "The industrial and economic development of any country relies heavily on its manufacturing industry. To promote the sector and generate new employment opportunities, the Central Government has launched the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rojgar Yojana (PMVBY)," stated Mr. Prashant Kumar Sinha, Commissioner of the Employees' Provident Fund Organization (EPFO), during an interactive seminar held at Udaipur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UCCI).

The seminar took place at the Pyrotech Tempsons Auditorium of the UCCI building and was jointly organized by UCCI and officials from EPFO and ESIC (Employees' State Insurance Corporation).

UCCI President Mr. Manish Galundia welcomed all attendees and emphasized that PF and ESIC schemes are beneficial for both employers and employees.

Mr. G.L. Nagda from EPFO gave a PowerPoint presentation on the PMVBY scheme, while Enforcement Officer Mr. Premchand Deshantari explained the online registration process through the PF portal for availing the scheme’s benefits.

During the open discussion session, Commissioner Prashant Kumar Sinha urged entrepreneurs of the region to actively contribute to the nation’s progress by generating employment under the scheme.

In the second session, Mr. Nikhil Kumar, Assistant Director, ESIC, presented details about the newly launched SPREE 2025 scheme via PowerPoint. He, along with Deputy Director Mr. Deepak Kumar Meena, addressed participants' queries during the open forum.

Social Security Officer Mr. Himanshu Gothwal was also present.

The event was conducted by Mr. Anil Mishra, Co-Chairman of UCCI’s PF/ESIC Sub-Committee, and attended by around 70 participants from various industrial and business units.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. V.P. Rathi, Chairman of the PF/ESIC Sub-Committee, UCCI.
