Woman Gives Birth to Triplets Prematurely

In the heart of Udaipur, amidst the bustling corridors of Pacific Medical College and Hospital, a tale of resilience and hope unfolded as a woman defied odds and gave birth to three healthy babies prematurely.

It was the 7th of May when the medical fraternity witnessed a remarkable event. In the Obstetrics and Gynecology department, a woman, despite facing challenges of gestational diabetes, preeclampsia, anemia, and hypothyroidism, delivered triplets six weeks earlier than anticipated.

Dr. Rajrani Sharma, the head of the department, shared that the cesarean section was performed seamlessly, ensuring the safety of both mother and babies. The infants, weighing 1.84 kg, 1.65 kg, and 1.49 kg respectively, were born healthy, defying the complications their mother had faced during pregnancy.

The journey wasn't without risks, as the mother's health conditions posed significant challenges. However, with the advanced facilities available at Pacific Medical College and Hospital, the impossible was made possible.

Dr. Rajrani Sharma emphasized the collaborative efforts of experienced medical professionals in providing the highest level of care for both safe delivery and postnatal care of premature or medically fragile babies, collaborating with pediatric specialists.

It's worth noting that Pacific Medical College and Hospital not only provides free antenatal care, normal, and cesarean deliveries but also offers complimentary services like Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) facilities.

The family expressed gratitude towards the chairman, Rahul Agrawal, and executive director, Aman Agrawal, for the exceptional care provided. Mother and babies are now in good health, relishing the joy of their miraculous journey.
