Advancements in Science and Technology

Udaipur, A two-day conference on "Recent Trends and Development in Science and Technology" was organized by the Physics Department of Bhupal Nobles World University's organizing unit, Bhopal Nobles Postgraduate College, in the Seminar Hall of the College. Inaugurating the conference at the opening session, the chief guest Dr. Sanjeev Tiwari, Lockheed Martin Solar and Astrophysics Laboratory and Bay Area Environmental Research Institute, California, USA, spoke on the subject of "Magnetic Field of Sun". He explained that magnetic fields are created by things that are magnetic or moving charged particles. As the Sun rotates, the magnetic field lines become more tangled over time. These tangled magnetic fields give rise to phenomena such as sunspots and solar activities like solar flares and coronal mass ejections (CMEs). Dr. Sonalika Agrawal, Research Scientist, Graduate School of Advanced Sciences and Engineering, Hiroshima University, Japan, presented the potential applications of "Metal Oxide Nanostructures" in medical treatment, agriculture, information technology, environmental conservation, energy, and more. Dr. Renu Rathore, Director of the conference, and Conference Organizer Dr. Devendra Parik gave detailed information about the various sessions of the conference, saying that Dr. Jayant Joshi, Indian Institute of Astrophysics, Bangalore, discussed the "National Large Solar Telescope", designed to address a series of key scientific issues related to the origin and dynamics of the solar magnetic field. NLSCT's role is unique for high-quality solar research and solar astronomers. Prof. Mukesh Shrimalli, Director of Pacific University Udaipur, shed light on "Nature Awareness" and Dr. Malkesh Kumar Patel, Principal Researcher, Department of Electrical Engineering, Incheon National University, South Korea, shed light on "Solid State Devices". Dr. Arun Kumar Awasthi, Space Research Center PAS Rockla, Poland, elaborated on "Sun-Earth Connection". In the same vein, Dr. Vishal Joshi, Dr. Kumar Alkendra Pratap Singh, Dr. S. R. Madan Shankar, Prof. S. N. A. Jaffery, among others, shared their thoughts on the subject from the podium.
