Annual Celebration "Harit-Vasudha" of B.N. Agricultural College Concluded

Udaipur: The annual celebration of B.N. Agricultural College, a constituent unit of Bhopal Nobles University, named "Harit-Vasudha 2024," took place on the university campus. The program was graced by Colonel Prof. Shiv Singh Sarangdevot (Kachher), Deputy Chairman of the Education Promotion Committee, Dr. Mahendra Singh Rathore (Agariya), Chairman of the Education Promotion Committee, and special guests Mr. Mohabbat Singh Rathore (Rupakhedi), Director of Bhopal Nobles Institute, Shakti Singh Karohi, Finance Minister, Naval Singh Jod, and Rajendra Singh Jhala (Tana), Joint Ministers of the Education Promotion Committee.

During the event, Chief Guest Prof. Sarangdevot encouraged the students, emphasizing the pivotal role of agriculture in India's development and economy. He highlighted the bright future of agricultural students and urged them to work diligently for it. Chairman Dr. Agariya, in his address, emphasized the changing global scenario and encouraged agricultural students to create employment opportunities through entrepreneurship, especially in rural areas.

The program commenced with Dr. Dilip Singh, Founder of B.N. Agricultural College, welcoming all guests and following the tradition, presenting them with turbans. In his welcome speech, Dr. Singh shed light on the wheat production and agricultural experiential programs conducted by the college.

Assistant Director, Student Welfare, Dr. Fatah Lal Sharma, presented the college's annual report. In academic activities, Ms. Nandini Dora from the second year and Vatsal Paliwal from the third year secured first place. Cadet Bhavyapratap Singh Ranawat and Ms. Nikita Mali excelled in various NCC camps.

In cultural competitions, Ms. Jyoti Chundawat secured first place in impromptu speech, debate, one-act play, and mime, while Ms. Shreya Bhatt topped in poster making, mehndi, and nail art.

In the National Service Scheme, Rajvardhan Singh Rathore and Nikhil Mali won the Best NSS Volunteer award. After the distribution of awards, students presented cultural programs comprising Rajasthani songs and dances.

Dr. Ritu Mehta expressed gratitude to all guests, staff, and students for their participation and contribution to the successful organization of the program.
