NEET UG Exam Today: Entry Starts from 11 AM: Important Instructions"

Udaipur, The country's largest medical entrance exam, NEET UG, is scheduled to be conducted across the nation on May 5th. Education counselor Vikas Chhajed informed that the exam will be held at 557 centers across 14 cities in India and abroad, with more than 24 lakh students having applied for it. The exam will begin at 2:00 PM and continue until 5:20 PM.

In Udaipur, the exam will be conducted at 20 centers, where over nine thousand students are expected to appear.

Entry Starts from 11 AM:
The process for entry into the examination center, including document verification, biometric attendance, thermal scanning, and frisking, will commence at 11 AM for the exam, which will continue until 1:30 PM. After this time, no candidate will be allowed entry.

Candidates are allowed to carry only the following items to the examination center:
- Transparent water bottle
- Self-declaration form (undertaking) with admit card, affixed with a postcard-sized photograph on page 2 of the admit card
- A hard copy of the NEET exam admission card is mandatory. No candidate will be allowed entry without it.
- A passport-sized photograph (same as uploaded during online application) is required to be carried to the examination center.
- An original photo ID along with the admit card is mandatory. Aadhar card is preferred, but in case of unavailability, e-Aadhar, PAN card, driving license, voter ID, passport, or ration card are acceptable.
- Students belonging to the PwD category must carry the certificate issued by the competent authority.

Candidates will be briefed about the entire process by the invigilator in the examination hall.

List of Prohibited Items:
- Any stationery items such as study material, pieces of paper, geometry/pencil box, plastic pouch, calculator, pen, scale, writing pad, pen drives, eraser, calculator, log table, electronic pen/scanner, etc.
- Any communication devices such as mobile phones, Bluetooth, earphones, microphone, pager, health band are strictly prohibited.
- Other items like wallets, goggles, handbags, belts, caps, etc., are not allowed.
- No watches/wristwatches, bracelets, cameras, etc., are allowed.
- No jewelry is to be worn.
- No edible items, open or packed water bottles, etc., are allowed.

Other Instructions:
- No bio break will be allowed during the first hour and the last half hour of the exam. Re-entry will only be permitted after frisking and biometric attendance.
- All examination centers will be equipped with CCTV jammers, and the NTA AI will be used to prevent incidents like cheating. Suspicious individuals will be identified, so refrain from any inappropriate activity inside or outside the examination center.
