Leheriya with Health: Gynaecological Awareness by Geetanjali Hospital Expert

Nathdwara – This year’s Leheriya Utsav at Statue of Belief in Nathdwara beautifully blended the colors of tradition with the importance of health. A special Women's Health Awareness Session was conducted by Geetanjali Hospital, Udaipur, with expert insights shared by Dr. Divya Choudhary, Consultant Gynaecologist and Advanced Laparoscopic Surgeon.

Dr. Divya Choudhary addressed key issues faced by women today such as irregular menstruation, excessive bleeding, hormonal imbalance, and common conditions like PCOD/PCOS. She emphasized that modern lifestyle stress is contributing to these concerns, yet many women continue to ignore early signs. Without timely diagnosis and treatment, these issues may escalate into serious health problems.

Highlighting the significance of preventive screening, Dr. Divya strongly advocated for regular Pap Smear Tests starting at age 21. This simple test helps in early detection of cervical cancer and can be life-saving if done regularly.

The session was a part of the Leheriya Utsav organized by Miraj, where popular actress Smita Bansal also participated, adding to the energy and enthusiasm of the event. A large number of women, dressed in traditional Leheriya attire, attended the program, making it a vibrant and informative celebration.
