Poster of Play Guide Released

Udaipur.The poster of the theatrical production “Guide – Once Again” was released on Wednesday by Udaipur MP Dr. Mannalal Rawat. Extending his best wishes, Dr. Rawat remarked that the play is deeply connected with Udaipur’s roots and cultural heritage. He recalled that the iconic film “Guide” was extensively shot in Udaipur and nearby locations. Released in 1965, the film not only gave Indian cinema a new dimension but also placed Udaipur prominently on the international tourism map. He said this stage adaptation would once again revive the glorious tradition and legacy of Mewar.

The poster launch was attended by Mahesh Ameta, President of the organization; Anil Dadhich, Secretary; Rekha Sharma, Co-Secretary; senior artists Ramesh Nagda, Manoj Joshi, Gaurikant Sharma, Jatin Bharwani, Kuldeep Dhabhai, Amit Vyas, Shona Malhotra, Yashasvi Srivastava, Manas Jain, Kamlesh Sharma, Rekha Sonwal, Payal Menaria and several others.

Tribute from Stage to Cinema
The play “Guide – Once Again” is conceived as a theatrical tribute to the film “Guide.” Its story has been written by author Gaurikant Sharma, while dramatization, concept, and direction have been carried out by senior theatre personality Shivraj Sonwal. During the performance, emerging singer Divisha Gharu will present live music. Organizers informed that the date and venue of the play will be announced soon. They emphasized that through this stage presentation, audiences will relive the magic that made “Guide” immortal and gave Udaipur a distinguished place on the world map.
