Global Brilliance of Pink City’s Jewels Honoured

Jaipur, Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani stated that while Jaipur is globally known as the Pink City, calling it the "Gem City" is equally apt. He noted that Jaipur, with its vibrant gemstones, traditional craftsmanship, and innovative jewellery art, has carved a unique identity on the global stage.

Speaking during his visit to the 19th Gems and Jewellery Exhibition held at the Jaipur Convention Centre in Sitapura on Saturday, Devnani remarked that this exhibition—infused with new energy and direction—not only strengthens trade and business relations but also enhances the global presence of Jaipur’s artistic legacy. “This platform is reinforcing our cultural grandeur while simultaneously promoting global dialogue and innovation,” he said.

Upon arriving at the venue, Devnani was welcomed and felicitated with a bouquet by the Vice President of the Jewellery Association, Mr. Raju Mangodiwala. Touring more than 310 exhibition counters, Devnani appreciated the remarkable creations of renowned artisans, dealers, and gem-jewellery entrepreneurs from India and abroad.

From intricate traditional carvings to modern design marvels, the exhibition was a splendid fusion of art and beauty. Devnani praised the event as a powerful medium of inspiration for Jaipur’s youth and a booster for commercial opportunities within the state.

He extended best wishes to the organising committee, the Gems and Jewellery Association, and all artisans for delivering such a grand, well-managed, and international-level exhibition.

The event witnessed participation from investors, buyers, and representatives not only from across India but also from various countries, reaffirming Jaipur’s shine on the global gem and jewellery map.
