#### 28 Criminals Detained in Area Domination Drive

Kota, June:
Under the strategic Area Domination Campaign (Operation Vajra Prahar), the Kota City Police, led by SP Dr. Amrita Duhan, carried out a major crackdown in the Kanhadi police station area, resulting in the detention of 28 criminals, seizure of 15 litres of illicit country-made liquor, and five motorcycles without documents.

SP Duhan informed that the operation was conducted under the close supervision of Additional SP Dilip Saini and the efficient leadership of DySP Gangasahay Sharma, with coordination from multiple police station officers including SHO Arvind Bhardwaj (Kunhari), SHO Devesh Bhardwaj (Borkheda), SHO Ramswaroop Meena (Railway Colony), SHO Mukesh Kumar (Vigyan Nagar), and SHO Rajpal Yadav (Nayapura).

The police cordoned off and searched the Bawri Basti area in Kunhari, targeting wanted criminals, absconders, and individuals involved in illegal activities such as arms possession and illicit liquor trade. During the operation:

28 individuals were detained, out of which:

3 were arrested under permanent warrants,

3 under Section 16/54 of the Excise Act,

1 under Section 4/25 of the Arms Act, and

21 under Section 170 BNSS (for non-bailable offenses), and were presented before the court.

The detained criminals are reportedly involved in serious offences, and police expect crucial leads through their interrogation.

The Kota police affirmed that surprise raids and checks in sensitive areas of the city will continue under Operation Vajra Prahar, to maintain law and order and curb criminal activities effectively.
