Udaipur : A rehearsal session for the Yoga Protocol of International Yoga Day was organized at Samagram Eco Pyramid, Shobhagpura under the aegis of the District Administration and the AYUSH Department. More than 70 yoga enthusiasts participated enthusiastically and enjoyed yoga, asanas, pranayama, and meditation in harmony with the five elements of nature.
A separate session of aqua yoga was also conducted in the specially designed swimming pool within the campus for water yoga practices.
The event is part of the Yoga Day countdown activities, which began 50 days before International Yoga Day. This particular program was held with 32 days remaining before June 21.
Dr. Bhanu Kumar Jain, Assistant Director of the Ayurveda Department, informed that rehearsals for the Yoga Protocol of International Yoga Day 2026 will continue to be organized at various historical and tourist locations across the district until June 21.
Dr. Shobhalal Audichya, Yoga Coordinator and Assistant Nodal Officer for International Yoga Day in Udaipur district, said that the primary objective is to connect every individual with yoga and promote a healthy society.
Dr. Vikram Kharadi, Yoga and Naturopathy Officer, stated that this year’s Yoga Day theme is:
**“Yoga for Health, Knowledge, and World Peace.”**
Under the guidance of Dr. Sanjay Maheshwari, Yogi Ashok Jain and Yogacharya Puran Singh Rathore conducted sessions on Tadasana, Vrikshasana, Padahastasana, Ardha Chakrasana, Trikonasana, Setu Bandhasana, Ushtrasana, Shavasana, Kapalbhati, Anulom-Vilom, Sheetali, and Bhramari Pranayama.
Meditation practice was conducted in a deeply spiritual and musical atmosphere by Dr. N. C. Jain, founder of the Samagram Institution and retired Principal Chief Conservator of Forests from the Indian Forest Service. He explained that the Samagram Eco Pyramid at Shobhagpura was established with the purpose of balancing and healing through the five natural elements.
Aquatic yoga practices, including Shavasana in water, were conducted by Yogacharya Suresh Paliwal.
