Udaipur: A newly constructed sanitation block and bathing facility for trainees were inaugurated on Saturday at the Divisional Training Centre of Hindustan Scouts and Guides Rajasthan State in Madar (Badgaon). The inauguration ceremony was held in a dignified atmosphere during the ongoing Cub Master/Flock Leader Basic Course Training Camp, which commenced on May 21 and is being attended by participants from various districts.
State Training Commissioner and Camp Director Pradeep Meghwal informed that, through the special efforts of Ravindra Herius, Director of Chaksi Group Madri, and CSR Head Praveen Kumar Yadav, eight bathrooms and eight sanitation units have been constructed at the training center for the convenience of trainees. In addition, the center has also been provided with a borewell and motor pump to ensure a permanent water supply. He stated that these contributions have significantly strengthened the basic infrastructure of the training center and will benefit future training camps as well.
The inauguration ceremony was presided over by State Secretary Narendra Audichya, while the chief guest was Praveen Kumar Yadav, CSR Head of Chaksi Group Udaipur. Addressing the gathering, he said that supporting social service and youth development initiatives is the responsibility of every institution. He added that the Scouts and Guides organization plays an important role in developing discipline, service, leadership, and patriotism among youth, making the development of essential facilities at training centers extremely important.
Special guests at the event included Sunil Saraswati Library representative Narayan from Hindustan Zinc Limited and architect Manish Kumawat. The guests inspected the newly built facilities, appreciated the quality of work, and described them as highly beneficial for trainees.
The program began with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and traditional prayers. Following this, the guests interacted with the trainees and encouraged them to actively participate in scouting and guiding activities. The trainees also expressed happiness over the new facilities and thanked the contributors for their support.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, Camp Director Pradeep Meghwal expressed gratitude to all guests, supporters, and attendees. He said the organization continues to receive valuable support from different sections of society, enabling it to make training activities more effective and impactful. The program concluded in a cordial and positive atmosphere.
