Villagers Celebrate Doctor’s APO Order with Fireworks; Express Gratitude to Chief Minister

Udaipur, Hundreds of residents from the Badgaon Panchayat Samiti celebrated with fireworks after Dr. Ashok Sharma, SMO posted at the Government Satellite Hospital, Badgaon, was issued an APO (Awaiting Posting Order). The villagers also expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma for the action.

Local residents stated that Dr. Sharma had been posted at the hospital for more than 20 years and alleged that during this period he behaved in an authoritarian manner. According to villagers, despite the hospital having a staff of around ten doctors, he reportedly did not allow patients to consult other available doctors, causing unnecessary crowding and long queues outside the hospital.

Villagers further claimed that the doctor often made reels of patients suffering from serious illnesses and posted them on social media, which they said violated medical privacy norms. They also alleged that he used these videos to gain publicity and associated himself with activities they considered inappropriate.

The villagers gathered in large numbers to celebrate the administrative decision, expressing relief and appreciation.

The event was attended by BJP Badgaon Mandal President Mohan Patel, former Sarpanch Kailash Sharma, former Panchayat Samiti member Jagdish Vaishnav, District Minister Ashok Sharma, former Sarpanch Bhanwari Gameti, former Deputy Sarpanch Nain Chand Sharma, and villagers including Jamnalaal Vyas, Shivdas Rangaswami, Pappudas Rangaswami, Devilal Gameti, Jagdish Gameti, Ravi Tank, Manohar Singh Kharwad, Manohar Ved, Khemraj Gameti, Laluram Dangi, Meera Bai, Radha Gameti, Gebibai Meghwal, among hundreds of others.
