Participants Receive Holistic Training Through Self-Defence, Health, Yoga, Meditation and Spiritual Activities
Udaipur: A seven-day free training and service camp jointly organized by Rotary Club Udaipur Ashoka, Being Manav, and Mewar Shakti Kalyan Trust concluded successfully on Sunday at Madhushree Banquet Hall, Ashoka Palace. The camp, held from June 1 to June 7, offered participants comprehensive training focused on self-defence, health, yoga, meditation, and spirituality, contributing to their overall personal development.
Mukesh Madhvani, Founder of Rotary Club Udaipur Ashoka, informed that during the first three days of the camp, renowned trainer and wrestler Gaurishankar Ji conducted self-defence and sword-training sessions. Women and youth were trained in practical self-protection techniques, emergency response strategies, and confidence-building exercises aimed at enhancing personal safety and empowerment.
On the fourth day, Dr. Jitendra Meghwal and his team conducted Ayurvedic health check-ups, treatment consultations, and wellness counseling. Participants were educated about healthy living through Ayurveda, disease prevention, and the importance of natural healing methods.
Rotarian Rahul Makhija, President of Rotary Club Udaipur Ashoka, stated that a special yoga and fitness session was organized at Nari Niketan on the fifth day of the camp. Yoga experts Dr. Meenakshi Paliwal and Dr. Kiran Paliwal guided participants through yoga postures, pranayama, physical exercises, and the benefits of regular yoga practice, encouraging them to adopt a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
Camp In-Charge Rajshree Sisodia informed that a special meditation session was conducted on the sixth day by Shakuntala Ji, who trained participants in various meditation techniques aimed at achieving mental peace, stress management, positive thinking, and improved concentration.
Speaking on the occasion, Alok Gupta, President-elect, and Dr. Pooja Devija, Secretary of the upcoming Rotary Ashoka session, appreciated the initiative and described it as an excellent effort for the welfare of society. They assured continued support for similar awareness and training programs in the future.
Basanti Vaishnav, Founder of Mewar Shakti Kalyan Trust, stated that the closing ceremony featured spiritual and cultural programs. Renowned devotional singer Pandit Satyanarayan Chaubisa presented a soulful musical rendition of the Hanuman Chalisa, captivating the audience. Trainers, doctors, organizers, and participants who contributed to the success of the camp were also felicitated during the event.
The closing ceremony was attended by Mukesh Madhvani, Rotarian Rahul Makhija, Alok Gupta, Dr. Pooja Devija, Basanti Vaishnav, Rajshree Sisodia, Vijay Singh Kachhawa, and several distinguished guests and participants.
The camp served as a meaningful platform for promoting physical fitness, mental well-being, self-confidence, and spiritual growth, leaving a lasting impact on all participants.
