NIMS University's Advisor, Professor Amarika Singh, Engages with Ideathon Participant

Jaipur,- Professor Amarika Singh, renowned advisor and former Vice-Chancellor of MLSU was actively involved in a dialogue session with students participating in the Ideathon today. The Ideathon, a platform for fostering innovation and creative thinking among students, was designed to empower them with novel ideas, creative skills, scientific knowledge, and technological insights.

During the interactive session, Professor Singh underscored the core objective of the Ideathon, emphasizing its pivotal role in equipping youth with the necessary skills and technological acumen. He articulated that the essence of Ideathon lies in imparting capabilities that enable youth to provide scientifically sound and innovative solutions to contemporary challenges. Professor Singh highlighted that initiatives like Ideathon are instrumental in nurturing a cadre of young researchers who will evolve into dynamic entrepreneurs, thereby contributing significantly to India's unprecedented growth trajectory.

The Ideathon serves as a significant avenue for skill development among students enrolled in higher education institutions. Professor Singh reiterated NIMS University's commitment to vigorously train students through such initiatives, aiming to instill entrepreneurial spirit and acumen among them. The overarching goal is to empower young innovators, providing them with essential support and guidance to unleash their potential.

Ideathon, characterized by its concise yet profound problem-solving approach, allows students to tackle some of the most pressing challenges of our time. Dr. B.S. Tomar, Chairman of NIMS University, is extending special grants to Ideathon participants and mentors to incentivize research and innovation. The event witnessed the presence of esteemed academics and faculty members, including Dr. Ashish Mathur, Dr. Anupama Sharma, Dr. Bhoomi Chaturvedi, Dr. Mahavir Singh, and Dr. Govind Upadhyay, further enriching the discourse on fostering innovation and entrepreneurial spirit among students.
