Mega Event ‘Genesis’ Kicks Off at PIMS Medical College

Udaipur: The prestigious Genesis 2025 mega event at PIMS Medical College, under Sai Tirupati University, was officially inaugurated on Tuesday evening with a grand opening ceremony. It was announced that renowned Bollywood singer Amit Trivedi will be performing at the event, scheduled for June 20 and 21.

The lineup will also feature DJ Shadow, DJ Kiara, DJ Sajal, and celebrated comedians Inder Sahani and Abhishek Waliya, who will deliver live performances across genres.

Managing Director Naman Agrawal shared that large-scale preparations are underway to make Genesis a memorable experience. He also introduced an innovative tree plantation initiative, where every graduating medical student will have a tree planted in their name within the university campus—a unique and commendable step toward environmental sustainability.

Medical students actively participated in the celebration, dancing enthusiastically to popular Amit Trivedi numbers like "Shaam Shaandaar," "Udi Amma," and "Chitta Ve." The evening concluded with a live screening of the IPL Final, adding to the festive spirit.

Dignitaries present included Chairperson Ashish Agrawal, CEO Sheetal Agrawal, Vice Chancellor Dr. Prashant Nahar, Registrar Dr. Devendra Jain, Principal Dr. Suresh Goyal, and Board Member Dr. Bhagwan Das Rai, along with staff members, who extended best wishes to the Genesis organizing team.
