Sri Ganganagar: Cooperation and Civil Aviation Minister Gautam Kumar Dak visited Suratgarh on Sunday. During his visit, he was welcomed at the Rajiasar branch of The Ganganagar Central Cooperative Bank Limited.
In the program, the minister handed over an accident insurance claim cheque of ₹10 lakh to Kamaladevi, nominee of the late Lalchand son of Pemaram, a member of the Chhapawali Gram Seva Sahkari Samiti Limited. Similarly, another ₹10 lakh accident insurance cheque of the late Harjinder Singh, member of 1 PS Gram Seva Sahkari Samiti Limited, was given to Prem Kumar for handing over to nominee Sandeep Kaur.
Minister Dak also highlighted the reduced insurance premium under the Rajasthan Risk Relief Fund and Accident Insurance Scheme, along with the benefits provided under it. He further informed participants about various innovations being implemented under the “Cooperation for Prosperity” initiative by the Central and State Governments, emphasizing efforts to strengthen the cooperative movement.
Several officials and dignitaries were present on the occasion, including Sanjay Garg (Managing Director, GKS Bank), Deepak Kukkar (Deputy Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Sri Ganganagar), Harisingh Sharma (Regional Officer, RAJFED), Vikas Garg (Chief Manager, Bank), Rajendra Prasad Meena (Branch Manager, Rajiasar), and representatives of various cooperative societies including Babusingh Rathore, Kaluram Godara, Mohanlal Maler, Dwarka Prasad Lakhotiya, Shyopat Ram, Bhagirath Swami, and Ajaypal Godara, among others.
