Udaipur, A monthly technology lecture series was organised under the joint aegis of Vigyan Samiti and Dr. D.S. Kothari Institute. On this occasion, Engineer S.C.K. Ved, Former Group General Manager of RSMML, delivered a comprehensive lecture on the topic “PERT & CPM Techniques.”
Engineer Ved described these techniques as effective tools in project management, emphasizing that their application helps in the timely completion of projects. He elaborated on the technical aspects using practical examples, highlighting how these methodologies aid in efficient planning and execution.
Presenting a review of the session, media coordinator Prof. Vimal Sharma explained that the use of PERT and CPM reduces project delays, ensures optimal use of resources, and simplifies the prioritization of tasks. He stressed that these methods lead to time-bound and cost-effective project execution.
The programme was presided over by Dr. K.L. Kothari and Dr. Maheep Bhatnagar, while it was ably conducted by the General Secretary of the Institute, Engineer Mahaveer Prasad Jain.
During the event, newly appointed President of Kothari Institute, Engineer R.K. Chatur, newly inducted member CA V.C. Vyas, Mr. Ashok Kumar Jain, and Engineer B.L. Khamesra were warmly felicitated. Additionally, the Working President of Vigyan Samiti, former IAS officer Mr. Munish Goyal, was specially honoured on the occasion of his birthday.
The event was graced by several dignitaries including Dr. K.L. Totawat, Dr. K.P. Talesra, Dr. B.L. Chawat, Dr. Sujan Singh, Dr. I.L. Jain, Engineer Arun Agrawal, Engineer Ashok Jain, Vardhman Mehta, Renu Bhandari, and Geeta Singh.
