The film, centered around the growing addiction among the youth, features performances by artists from Udaipur, Jaipur, Chittorgarh, and Rishabhdev. The premiere show at Atal Sabha Ghar was graced by Colonel Prof. S. S. Sarangdevot from Pandit Janardan Rai Nagar University, BJP City District President Ravindra Shrimaali, Deputy Mayor Paras Singhvi, Deputy Chetna Bhati, Ambamata Thana Adhikari Dr. Hanvant Singh Rajpurohit, and Pratap Nagar Thana Adhikari Himanshu Singh Rajawat. Senior artist Srinivasan Ayyar, along with Kapil Shrimaali, the President of Lakeside Press Club, were also present as special guests.

The film's producer-director, Abhishek Joshi, explained that the film is a mirror of society and through its narrative, it not only brings awareness to a harsh reality but also provides a solution. The story revolves around the pivotal role family values play in curbing the growing addiction to drugs among today's youth. He shared that 'Maa Ki Saugandh' has won a total of 16 awards at festivals held in Tamil Nadu, Chennai, and Kolkata.

The film received accolades for Best Music Director (Shahnavaz Khan), Best Cinematographer (Yash Pandiyar Sahu), Best Writer (Himanshu Bhatt), Best Songwriter (Aabha Mehta), and the overall Best Indian Short Film Award for the entire team. Yash Pandiyar, the Director of Photography, mentioned that during the premiere show, tears welled up in the eyes of the audience in Atal Sabha Ghar, as they were deeply moved, reminiscing about their mothers. The film, shot in the narrow lanes, ruins, and temples of Udaipur with limited resources, will also be showcased at the university.

The story of 'Maa Ki Saugandh' was penned by Himanshu Bhatt, and the melodious song capturing the essence of the film was written by Aabha Mehta and beautifully sung by Marisha Dixit. The lead role in the film, depicting a middle-class family's only son, is played by Mukul Jain from Chittorgarh, also known as Junior Amitabh Bachchan. The film portrays the life-changing journey of Mukul Jain's character, who falls victim to bad company, and the turning point in his life, guided by the efforts of Ramesh Nagda, a city social worker.

The success of the film can be attributed to the dedicated contributions of Daksh, Nihal, Sneha, Viveanshi, Hemakshi, Arjun, Shekhar, Harsh, Sunil, and the Arogya Seva Sanstha Nasha Mukti Kendra team."
