Successful Treatment of Kidney Stones Through Unani Medicine by Dr. Abbas

Kota, Dr. Mohammad Shameem Khan, the head of the Government Unani Medical College in Kota, has achieved significant success in treating kidney stones in a 51-year-old woman from Raza Nagar. The patient approached Dr. Abbas on October 14, 2023, complaining of recurrent urination, pain during urination, and lower back pain. The ultrasound report revealed 12 to 15 stones in both kidneys, measuring 3 to 4 mm each.

Dr. Khan, a seasoned Unani medical practitioner, initiated the treatment and advised the patient to follow a diet regimen, including spinach, coriander, Indian gooseberry (Amla), tomatoes, cucumber, meat, mushrooms, pumpkin, cauliflower, eggplant, and cashews while avoiding certain foods. The treatment continued for three months.

A follow-up sonography on January 13, 2024, showed a remarkable improvement, with both kidneys appearing normal and no evidence of stones. This success adds to Dr. Khan's track record of successfully treating kidney, bladder, ureter, and gallbladder stones through Unani medicine without resorting to surgery.
