### Keep Water Sources Clean: Take Your Trash with You

**Udaipur,— Lake enthusiasts have issued a call for visitors to water sources to take their trash with them and keep these areas free from plastic, polythene, and other waste.

On Sunday, following reports of pollution at the Nandeshwar Channel, a group of dedicated lake lovers, including Dr. Anil Mehta, Tej Shankar Paliwal, Nand Kishor Sharma, Kushal Rawal, and Drupad Singh, discovered significant amounts of plastic, polythene, gutkha pouches, empty water and liquor bottles, and leftover food being discarded. This waste threatens to flow into the Pichola Lake, potentially contaminating the drinking water supply and posing health risks to both the lake and local residents.

In response, these lake enthusiasts undertook a cleanup effort, removing a large portion of the garbage. They emphasized that the responsibility of keeping our water sources clean lies with everyone and called for collective action to maintain a healthy and clean environment.

They urged the public to carry a bag when visiting water sources and ensure they take all their trash back with them. They also requested the administration to enhance waste management around these areas and to raise awareness among visitors about the importance of keeping water sources pristine.
