Udaipur: On the occasion of Teachers’ Day, Ayush Group of Education and Ayush Allied & Healthcare College, Sector 5, organised the Ayush Guru Gaurav Samman Ceremony 2026 at Atal Auditorium. The event also featured special awards recognising individuals for their notable contributions to education and society.

Around 150 distinguished teachers from across the division were honoured with the Ayush Guru Gaurav Alankaran for their significant contributions to education, social causes and shaping the future of students.

The Ayush Founder Excellence Award was presented to Principal Raman Lal Heda for his efforts in establishing and developing basic infrastructure and facilities at his school.

The Ayush Inspiration Award was conferred on Professor Bhawani Shankar Sharma for his special contribution in helping students secure scholarships worth around ₹35 lakh under the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) scheme.

Teacher Payal Sanwaria received the Ayush Impact Educator Award for her innovative academic efforts and dedicated contribution towards students. The Ayush Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Professor (Dr.) Anant Prakash Gupta in recognition of nearly four decades of contribution to homeopathy and medical education, as well as his authorship of 16 books.

The Ayush Social Impact Award was presented to social worker Narayan Kalasua for his significant efforts in social and educational service. His initiative to take a child from a labour background away from a welding shop and help him pursue education, eventually paving the way for him to become an MBBS doctor, was also recognised.

Chief Guest and Founder Chairperson of Ayush Group of Education, Dr. Ram Meena, said teachers do much more than impart knowledge—they help shape the future of children. Education is a process of developing students’ personalities, perspectives and aspirations, and teachers play a crucial role in giving them the right direction.

Special Guest and Founder of Ayush Paramedical Institute, Dr. Asha (Anshu) Meena, said such events are an expression of society’s gratitude towards teachers and serve as an inspiration to contribute more meaningfully to education and society.

Students presented a series of cultural performances during the ceremony. Former students associated with Ayush Group of Education were also felicitated.

Programme coordinator and administrator Dr. Kanak Gautam welcomed the guests, while Senior Executive Manish Ahari and OSD Magan Ahari proposed the vote of thanks.
