Now, with Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi having concluded, television’s reigning queen is ready to introduce her next story on Star Plus, bringing Gaurav Khanna and Shraddha Arya together in a fresh pairing. The recently released teaser shows the two arriving at the Balaji Telefilms office, smiling their way through paparazzi questions while keeping their new project under wraps. And Ekta’s message to viewers is clear: surprises abhi baaki hain!

Talking about the new show, Ekta Kapoor says, “Ek kahaani khatam hui hai, lekin surprises abhi baaki hain! And what better way to begin than by bringing Gaurav Khanna and Shraddha Arya together! Both have earned so much love from viewers, and I’ve wanted to see them share the screen for a long time. While the makers have yet to officially announce the title, the hashtag #DHGA accompanying the first teaser hints that the show could be called Dhaga. According to a source, the show is being lined up for a post-Diwali launch, possibly in the last week of November.

Described as a modern-day love story, the show is expected to present Gaurav in a different light, with a new look and a character that moves beyond his familiar romantic-hero image.
