Udaipur,  Promoting fitness and a healthy lifestyle, the Hindustan Zinc Marathon was successfully organised in Udaipur, drawing enthusiastic participation from running and fitness enthusiasts. Geetanjali Medical College and Hospital, Udaipur, served as the medical partner for the event and provided medical and physiotherapy services to more than 500 participants.

Prioritising the health and safety of runners, Geetanjali deployed a team of medical specialists and physiotherapists at the event venue. Cardiologist Dr. Rohin Saini spoke to participants about maintaining heart health and the importance of regular exercise.

Dr. Ramavatar Saini, Head of Department and orthopaedic specialist, shared practical guidance on protecting the knees, joints and muscles during running and physical activity. Geetanjali Hospital Marketing Head Kalpesh Chand Rajbar played a key role in coordinating the hospital's participation. He said the hospital's role extends beyond treatment and includes promoting preventive healthcare, fitness and healthy lifestyle practices in the community.

He said events such as marathons provide an effective platform to encourage people to adopt regular exercise, pay attention to cardiovascular health and maintain physical fitness. The participation of Geetanjali's specialist medical team, he added, reflects the hospital's commitment to healthcare services and health awareness in the community.

During the event, Dr. Manoj Soni, ABCR Director, appreciated Geetanjali Hospital's medical support and services and expressed his gratitude to the team.

Through its medical and physiotherapy services during the marathon, the Geetanjali team reinforced the message of “health security along with fitness,” highlighting the importance of combining physical activity with proper health awareness and preventive care.
