Udaipur: The Inner Wheel Club of Udaipur Divas celebrated Raksha Bandhan with police personnel at Fatehpura Police Outpost, expressing gratitude for their round-the-clock service to the community.

Club President Nayana Jain said members tied rakhis on the wrists of police personnel as a gesture of respect and appreciation for their dedicated role in maintaining public safety and law and order.

“Raksha Bandhan is not only a festival celebrating the bond between brothers and sisters, but also an occasion to express gratitude towards those who remain committed to protecting society,” Jain said. She added that police personnel play an important role in ensuring the safety of citizens and maintaining peace and order while performing their duties.

As part of the programme, rakhis were tied to ASI Rajendra Singh Jhala of Fatehpura Outpost, Constable Prakash Chandra, Head Constable Traffic Harji Ram and Traffic Constable Bhawani Singh.

Club members conveyed their best wishes for the health, safety and happiness of all the police personnel. The programme highlighted the spirit of respect, gratitude and brotherhood associated with Raksha Bandhan.

Club Vice President Asha Shrimali, Asha Navedia, Hamida Bano, Jayshree Jain and Preeti Shrimali were present on the occasion.
