With this inspiring vision, Laghu Udyog Bharati, Udaipur’s Ahilyabai Holkar Unit is bringing Swayamsiddha–Ahilya Udyam Expo 1.0 to Udaipur from September 25 to 27 at Shubh Kesar Garden—a vibrant three-day celebration of women entrepreneurs, artisans, innovators and creators. A Fair Where Every Stall Belongs to a Woman The defining feature of the expo is simple yet powerful: all stalls will be operated by women entrepreneurs. With a target of 105 stalls, the expo will provide an affordable platform for women who are building businesses from their homes, MSME units, startups and traditional crafts. The number of stalls may be increased depending on participation. Special free stalls will also be offered to tribal women, giving them an opportunity to bring their unique products and traditional skills before a wider audience. To ensure diversity, the organizers also plan to limit stalls featuring the same category of products, allowing visitors to discover a rich variety of offerings. From Skill to Enterprise, From Enterprise to Self-Reliance Dr. Reena Rathore, In-charge of Swayamsiddha for Chittorgarh Prant, said that women across Rajasthan are increasingly turning their skills into successful enterprises through the Swayamsiddha initiative. The initiative has already helped thousands of women find customers and markets, with several entrepreneurs now taking their products online and strengthening their financial independence. For Udaipur, this will be the fifth Swayamsiddha exhibition, but its expanded scale has given it a new identity—Swayamsiddha–Ahilya Udyam Expo 1.0.
