Udaipur: The Vipra Foundation Zone 1-A’s State Education, Employment and Competitive Examination Cell will organise a special Career Guidance and Counselling Seminar on September 6 for students participating in the second and third rounds of NEET-UG counselling.

A preparatory meeting was held on Thursday at a private office near Delhi Gate, where experts and office-bearers discussed strategies to ensure maximum benefit for students.

Chairing the meeting, state convener and National Executive Committee member Dr. H.R. Dave said clearing NEET is an important achievement, but choosing the right college, course, state and counselling options is equally crucial. Lack of information and an inadequate understanding of the counselling process can prevent deserving students from securing colleges and courses suited to their merit.

State secretary G.L. Nagda said the seminar will be particularly useful for students who did not secure a seat in the first round or were unable to obtain their preferred college. Experts will guide students on choice filling, seat upgradation, government and private medical colleges, MCC and AYUSH counselling, deemed university options and affordable quality institutions.

The seminar will also address queries from students and parents, with the objective of helping them select career options based on their interests, capabilities and future prospects.

According to state Zone 1-A media in-charge Gopal Mehta Menaria, the seminar will begin at 2 p.m. on Sunday, September 6, at Nimbark B.Ed. College, outside Surajpol, Udaipur.

Vipra Foundation has appealed to all NEET-qualified students and parents to attend the seminar and seek expert guidance for making informed decisions about their medical careers.
