"The Indian culture teaches us that when someone respectfully greets you, it is courteous to respond with a respectful greeting in return. On Wednesday, a scene illustrating this cultural norm unfolded in a village when Vishvaraj Singh Mevada, the BJP candidate from the Nathdwara assembly constituency, arrived for a public interaction. Following the traditions of Mevada culture, women in ghunghats greeted Vishvaraj Singh Mevada, and in response, he graciously greeted them. Onlookers noted that the tradition of respecting and greeting guests is still preserved in the Mevada culture today."
