Mumbai, Lokhandwala - The Celebration Sports Club in Mumbai hosted the 15th National 'Cheetah Martial Arts Championship' on November 27, commemorating the 83rd birth anniversary of martial arts legend Bruce Lee. The event witnessed the presence of esteemed guests, including Dr. Harish Bhujanga Shetty (Governing Council, National Institute of Social Defense, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India), martial arts guru Cheetah Yajnesh Shetty, Rakesh Anna Shetty, Ashok Beniwal, and the hero of the 'Commando' web series, Prem Parizaa. The program commenced with a ceremonial lighting by Deep Prajvalit performed by Shagun Vagh.
During the event, the Vithal Shetty Foundation Trophy was presented, acknowledging the top three winners. It is noteworthy that the Vithal Shetty Foundation, in collaboration with partner Rakesh Anna Shetty and the support of Kartik Kider, is actively contributing to educating underprivileged children. The ceremony also announced the initiation of the 'Say No to Drugs' awareness campaign. Marshal kits were distributed to deprived and needy children, bringing smiles to their faces.
Participants, along with the dignitaries, took an oath against drugs, emphasizing the message of abstaining from substance abuse. The program paid a heartfelt tribute to martial arts king Bruce Lee, aligning with the vision of Cheetah Yajnesh Shetty. Notably, Dr. Cheetah Yajnesh Shetty, renowned Bollywood martial arts choreographer and recipient of the 'Doctorate of Philanthropy (Ph.D.)' in Martial Arts Pure Science from the Global Martial Arts University Grant Commission, has trained over 200 Bollywood stars and nearly 1,050,000 women in martial arts.
