In an event organized by the International Harmony Forum during the India-Nepal Cultural Conclave in Delhi, a total of 31 talents were honored with the Indira Gandhi Samrasata Award and Dr. G.V. Krishnamurthy Award. The awards were presented on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna former Prime Minister, Late Smt. Indira Gandhi, and former Chief Election Commissioner, Dr. Krishnamurthy.
The chief guests at the ceremony included former Delhi Minister Narendra Nath, senior politician Harpal Rawat from Uttarakhand, Senior Advocate Dr. G.C. Rao from the Supreme Court, Smt. Padma Krishnamurthy, and eminent advisor to the first Vice President of Nepal, Mahavir Prasad. They extended felicitations through the Nepal National Hat Shawl Medal Memorabilia.
Pranita Talesara was one of the recipients of the Indira Gandhi Samrasata Award, which recognized 21 individuals for their contributions. Additionally, 10 individuals were honored with the Dr. G.V. Krishnamurthy Award. The notable guests at the ceremony expressed appreciation for their exceptional achievements in various fields.
The main objective of the conclave was to promote the ancient Vedic cultures of India and Nepal and strengthen the Panchsheel principles of dignity and non-violence. The event also extended an invitation for the 22nd Samrasata Coordination Conference scheduled from December 28 to 31, 2023, in Kathmandu, Nepal.
The awards were presented to individuals from diverse backgrounds who have made significant contributions to society through various activities.
