Darshan Dental College and Hospital Celebrates National Oral Medicine and Radiology Day
Udaipur: Under the guidance of Principal Dr. Vikas Puniya, Darshan Dental College and Hospital organized an Oral Health Awareness Camp on the occasion of National Oral Medicine and Radiology Day. Dr. Puniya emphasized the importance of oral health to all students. This year, the theme of National Oral Medicine and Radiology Day was "Revolution in Smiles: Innovation, Enlightenment, and Outreach."
The program was coordinated by Dr. Saba Khan, the department head, who, along with all department staff, organized several presentations and lectures inspired by this year's theme of OMR Day. These presentations shed light on topics such as oral and bodily hygiene and provided information on modern machinery and digital radiographic techniques.
During the event, a free dental check-up and treatment camp was conducted, examining over 100 patients and dental students, raising awareness about oral health issues and providing treatment when necessary. Deputy Principal Dr. Ravi Kiran, PG Director Dr. Ruchi Aroda, and UG Director Dr. Nitin Doongarwal were present at the occasion.
The Oral Medicine and Radiology department expressed gratitude to the trustees of Darshan Dental College and Hospital, Mr. B.R. Agrawal and Dr. J.K. Talia, for their support and encouragement.
