### Ellipsis Entertainment's New Film to Focus on India's Biggest Bank Scam

Ellipsis Entertainment partners Tanuj Garg and Atul Kasbekar have announced the production of a film based on India's biggest bank scam. Following the success of 'Do Aur Do Pyaar' and 'Sharmaji Ki Beti,' Ellipsis Entertainment's next venture will delve into the sensational bank fraud of 1971. This film will meticulously portray one of the most notorious scams in India's banking history, which was investigated by a Delhi Police team led by Chanakyapuri SHO Hari Dev Kaushal.

The plot centers around the criminal activities of alleged double agent Rustam Nagarwala, who orchestrated a major fraud at a State Bank of India branch in Delhi. SHO Hari Dev Kaushal, known for his exceptional work and integrity, played a crucial role in uncovering this scam. Interestingly, Hari Dev Kaushal is the father of screen actors Rahul Dev and Mukul Dev. Mukul Dev, who has contributed to Hansal Mehta's 'Omerta,' is also part of the writing team for this film, collaborating with Supratim Sengupta and Kunal Aneja. They conducted extensive research using both primary and secondary sources to ensure accuracy.

The casting and credits for this unnamed film are currently in the final stages, and the filmmakers are expected to announce the title soon.

Presented by Kali Das Pandey.
