**Bhilwara:** On the fourth day of the ongoing workshop demonstration program, organized by SPIC MACAY (Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst Youth) in collaboration with Indian Oil Corporation, Kathak dancer Varsha Das Gupta performed two mesmerizing presentations on 26th July 2024. The first performance took place at 8 AM at Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Pipli, and the second at 10 AM at Govt. Primary School, Dantajati.
National Executive Member Kailash Paliya informed that Varsha Das Gupta began her performance with a Saraswati Vandana, highlighting the beauty of Goddess Saraswati and emphasizing the importance of education and art to the students. She enchanted the audience with her depiction of the monsoon season, showcasing the drizzling rain, peacock dance, deer frolicking, river flowing, and lightning through her dance. The fusion of tabla and ghungroo, along with her footwork, compelled the audience to applaud.
**Final Two Performances Tomorrow**
According to program coordinator Anu Prajapat, the final two performances by Varsha Das Gupta will take place on 27th July at 8 AM at Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Kanda, and at 9:30 AM at Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Chawandia.
