**City SP Dr. Amrita Duhan** reported that during the Operation Cyber Strike, initiated by the headquarters, 326 mobile phones (estimated value of 7.5 million INR) that were lost, snatched, or stolen were recovered and returned to their owners.
The campaign aimed to address the high pendency of reports registered on the CEIR portal, PORTAL, and various police stations over the years. Under the guidance of Additional SP Dilip Saini, a team conducted a technical analysis of data related to lost, snatched, and stolen mobile phones from both within and outside the state. With the cooperation of the police station teams, they ran a campaign to recover these mobile phones.
The team made diligent efforts and successfully recovered valuable multimedia mobile phones of different companies from various states, both within and outside Rajasthan. These recovered phones were handed over to their respective owners by the Kota City Police Superintendent as part of Operation Cyber Strike. Among these, 14 phones belonged to coaching students, leading to public appreciation of the police administration's initiative. The police superintendent's office team and the police station level teams played a crucial role in this campaign.
City SP has appealed to the public to report any incidents of mobile theft or loss online on the Rajasthan Police website. Additionally, by uploading the report on the CEIR PORTAL created by the Government of India, individuals can block their lost mobile phones to prevent misuse and facilitate tracing.
