### City Bus Flagged Off at Geetanjali Hospital
Under the joint initiative of Geetanjali Medical College & Hospital and Udaipur City Municipal Corporation, the operation of city buses has commenced. On August 8, 2024, the bus service was inaugurated by Mr. Ankit Agarwal, Executive Director of Geetanjali Group, Mr. Rishi Kapoor, COO of Geetanjali Hospital, Medical Superintendent Dr. Harpreet Singh, and department heads, who flagged off the bus.
The bus, on route number 16, will run from T.B. Hospital Badi to Geetanjali Medical College & Hospital. The route will cover T.B. Hospital, Badi Village, Dewali, Fatehpura Chauraha, Chetak Circle, Court Chauraha, Delhi Gate, Surajpole, Sikh Colony, Sevashram Pulia, Sector 3 Hiran Magri, Sector 4, Sector 5, Sector 6, Hiran Magri Police Station, Satellite Hospital, and Eklingpura Chauraha, before reaching Geetanjali Medical College & Hospital.
The fare for the bus will range from ₹5 to ₹20 per passenger, with a 50% discount for senior citizens, students, and differently-abled passengers.
