Exploring Cultural Heritage During Educational Tours

Udaipur: St. Gregorios C.S. School, Udaipur, organized educational tours for students from classes 6 to 8 and classes 9 and 11, allowing them to explore the cultures of various cities up close.

For classes 6 to 8, a tour was held to Ooty, Mysore, and Bengaluru, which included 56 students and five teachers. They visited several notable locations, such as the tea gardens, tea factories, Botanical Garden, Ooty Lake, Mysore Palace, St. Philomena's Church, Krishna Raja Sagara Dam, the musical fountain at Brindavan Garden, Tipu Sultan's Summer Palace, and Lalbagh, gathering valuable insights about these sites.

Similarly, for classes 9 and 11, an educational tour to Kanyakumari, Kovalam, and Kochi was organized, with a participation of 59 students and five teachers. They explored various attractions, including Vivekananda Rock, VGP Water Park, Jewish Synagogue, Mattancherry Palace, Lulu Mall, and St. Francis Church.

The educational tour aimed to enhance students' knowledge, and its successful organization was made possible with the significant support of the school's manager, Father Varghese Thomas, members of the school management committee, Principal Shubha Jos, Vice Principal Anil Goswami, and the coordinators of the educational tour, Satya Bhushan Sharma and Monika Vaishnav.
