Udaipur to Promote Marble under One District-One Product Policy
Online registration for ODOP benefits begins; focus also laid on cooperative banking reforms
Udaipur, The Rajasthan Government has launched the One District-One Product (ODOP) Policy 2024 to promote and support region-specific products. District Industries Centre General Manager Shailendra Sharma informed that marble and granite have been selected under this initiative for Udaipur district. All benefits to the eligible units under this scheme will be provided through an online portal.
Applicants are required to upload documents such as passport-size photographs, caste certificate, unit PAN card, production start date, first or latest sale bill, Udyam registration, and product photographs during registration.
Sharma further stated that under the ODOP scheme, new micro enterprises will receive 25% of project cost or a maximum of ₹15 lakh as margin money subsidy, while new small enterprises will get 15% or up to ₹20 lakh. An additional ₹5 lakh subsidy will be granted to SC/ST/disabled/young entrepreneurs below the age of 35. Furthermore, eligible units will be supported under schemes for technology acquisition, quality certification, marketing support, and e-commerce promotion.
