Grand Rath Yatra of Khatu Shyam Baba in Udaipur
Warm welcome by Agrawal Vaishnav Samaj at Surajpole
Udaipur: As part of the three-day Shyam Mahotsav organized by Shri Khatu Shyam Mitra Mandal, a magnificent Rath Yatra and Nishan Yatra of Shyam Baba was carried out on May 8, starting from Fateh School and passing through various routes of the city. For the first time, Shyam Baba's Rath Yatra was taken out for a city tour in Udaipur, drawing large participation and devotion.
The Agrawal Vaishnav Samaj gave a grand welcome to the Rath Yatra at Surajpole Chauraha. According to Secretary Dinesh Bansal, Shyam devotees were showered with flower petals and served milk rose offerings. A splendid aarti of Shyam Baba was performed, with Agrawal Mahila Samiti members conducting a 108-diya aarti.
Key contributors to the event included Rakesh Garg, Sanjay Marwadi, Sunil Agrawal, Prakash Agrawal, Rajesh Singhal, Ashok Agrawal, and women members Lata Agrawal, Tripti Agrawal, Sunita Bansal, Asha Agrawal, Usha Gupta, and Mandakini. Senior members and women of the community also graced the occasion.
The Agrawal community members collectively prayed for the nation's safety in light of rising global unrest and offered wishes for national security and harmony.
