Iconic 7, Boundary Bashers, and APL Legends Secure Wins in Semifinals
Field Club Cricket Carnival 2025 Season-4
Udaipur: On the fifth day of the **Field Club Cricket Carnival 2025 Season-4**, the semifinal matches for the **under-40 age group** took place with much excitement and competitive spirit. The matches were inaugurated with the toss conducted by Field Club Secretary **Umesh Manwani**, Vice President **Bhupendra Shrimali**, Treasurer **Gaurav Singhi**, and Joint Secretaries **Pankaj Kaneria** and **Amit Kothari**.
### **1st Semifinal: Iconic 7 vs Super 7**
In the first semifinal, **Super 7** batted first and posted a competitive total of **95 runs in 6 overs**. Star performer **Harshal Chordia** played an explosive knock, scoring **72 runs**. For Iconic 7, **Sanyam Jain** picked up two crucial wickets.
In reply, **Iconic 7** chased down the target with just **one ball to spare**. **Dev Chordia** remained unbeaten on **61 runs**, while **Adarsh Kataria** contributed an unbeaten **32 runs**. For his brilliant batting performance, **Dev Chordia was named Man of the Match**.
### **2nd Semifinal: Boundary Bashers vs Srujan Nova Stars**
The second semifinal match began with the toss conducted by dignitaries including **Navneet Singh**, industrialist **Goldie**, and executive members **Amit Kothari**, **Dhruvi Nalwaya**, **Kavita Kumawat**, **Sulabh Dharmavat**, **Jitesh Vanwaria**, **Bhanu Pratap Singh**, and **Gaurav Vyas**.
**Boundary Bashers**, after winning the toss, elected to bat and scored a challenging **96 runs in 6 overs**. Key contributions came from **Vikas Malara (22* runs)** and **Meet Lalwani (21 runs)**. In response, **Srujan Nova Stars** could only manage **78 runs**, falling short of the target. **Meet Lalwani** was awarded **Man of the Match** for his **four-wicket haul**.
### **40+ Age Group Semifinal: APL Legends vs Rosawa Titans**
In the **over-40 age category semifinal**, the toss was conducted by **Sunil Mogra**, **Navneet**, **Gaurav Singhi**, **Pankaj Kaneria**, and **Amit Kothari**.
Batting first, **Rosawa Titans** scored **60 runs for 4 wickets in 6 overs**, with **Atul Chandaliya** contributing **28 runs**. In reply, **APL Legends** successfully chased down the target in **4.5 overs**, thanks to a solid **25-run innings by Ankit Thakur Gupta** and **16 runs by captain Piyush Gupta**. **Ankit Thakur Gupta was named Man of the Match** for his match-winning performance.
The tournament showcased not only exciting cricket action but also enthusiastic participation and high-level performances across both age categories.
