MPUAT Board of Management Meeting Held

 

Udaipur – The 64th meeting of the Board of Management of Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology (MPUAT) was held on June 18, 2025, at the university's administrative office under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Dr. Ajit Kumar Karnataka.

Participants included:

  • Dr. Suresh Dhakad, Hon’ble MLA, Begun (Chittorgarh)

  • Dr. Surendra Kothari

  • Mr. Vishnu Pareek

  • Mr. Suhas Manohar

  • Dr. V.D. Mudgal

  • Mrs. Kavita Joshi

  • Dr. Arvind Verma

  • Dr. Lokesh Gupta

  • Mr. Sudhanshu Singh (Registrar)

Key Decisions & Approvals:

  1. Extension of agreement with Saras Dairy:

    • For operating the Pratap Fresh Product Sales Center and Pratap Saras Snacks Corner at the College of Dairy and Food Technology, under existing terms and conditions.

  2. Approval of recommendations from the Academic Council meeting held on May 23, 2025, including:

    • Amendment of admission eligibility criteria at the College of Dairy and Food Technology.

    • Accreditation of faculty for postgraduate teaching and research supervision.

    • Increase in honorarium/remuneration for teachers evaluating Master’s and Ph.D. theses.

  3. Appointment of Professors of Practice in various colleges:

    • College of Fisheries: Dr. Atul Kumar Jain

    • College of Community Science: Dr. Vandana Agrawal, Ms. Khushboo

    • College of Technology and Engineering: Dr. Kajar Ali Shah, Er. Rajesh Nimare, Er. Parikshit Talesara

  4. Approval of financial recommendations from the Finance Committee meeting held on June 11, 2025:

    • Approval of budget estimate of ₹122 crore for the financial year 2025–26.

    • Approval of revised budget estimate of ₹149 crore for the year 2024–25.
