### Delhi-Jaipur Comes Closer with New Expressway Link

With the opening of the Bandikui–Jaipur Expressway Link Road from July 2, the distance between Delhi and Jaipur—both in terms of time and connectivity—has significantly reduced. This new link, originating from the Nangal Chaudhary Interchange on the Delhi–Mumbai Expressway, stretches to Bandikui and seamlessly merges with the existing highway to Jaipur.

The travel time from Delhi to Jaipur is expected to drop from approximately 3 hours to just 2.5 hours. For commuters, this development brings not just speed, but greater convenience. Initially, no toll will be charged for the first 7 to 10 days, during which technical assessments and safety inspections will be carried out.

Built at a cost of ₹1,368 crore, the 66.916 km long 4-lane expressway features a railway overbridge, two major bridges, six interchanges, 11 VUPs (Vehicular Underpasses), and 18 SVUPs (Service Vehicular Underpasses). It will reduce the overall distance between Delhi and Jaipur by 20 km, making travel safer and smoother.

Beyond transport, this expressway is poised to accelerate economic development in the region by boosting trade, commerce, and tourism. With improved access, Jaipur’s historic and cultural landmarks will become more accessible to tourists from Delhi and beyond.

In conclusion, the Bandikui–Jaipur Expressway Link is not just a roadway—it’s a catalyst for connectivity, development, and opportunity.
