Udaipur, The ongoing Shilpdarshan program at Shilpgram, organized by the West Zone Cultural Centre (WZCC), Udaipur, is drawing the attention of both domestic and international tourists with vibrant performances of traditional Indian folk dances such as Kalbelia, Manganiyar, Povada, Rathwa, and Kathputli.

Director of WZCC, Furqan Khan, informed that the cultural presentations include Kalbelia, Manganiyar, and Kathputli from Rajasthan, Povada from Maharashtra, and Rathwa from Gujarat. The Shilpgram campus remains open daily from 11 AM to 7 PM for visitors to witness these cultural experiences.

It is noteworthy that under the Shilpdarshan initiative, artists and craftsmen from member states are invited every 15 days throughout the year to showcase their art and traditions. This allows visitors to interact with them and learn about their culture in depth.

Shilpgram features 31 traditional huts representing member states, a Shilpgram Museum, and a wide variety of handmade crafts available for purchase, offering tourists an immersive and enriching experience of rural and tribal art forms.
