Rotary Club Drishti to Plant 500 Saplings During Plantation Week
Campaign to be conducted from July 10 to 17 across Udaipur
Udaipur:
In a green initiative to enhance the city's greenery, Rotary Club Drishti has announced that it will plant 500 saplings at various locations in Udaipur between July 10 and 17, as part of its Plantation Week.
Club patron Dr. Sweeta Chhabra informed that these 500 saplings have been provided by the Forest Department and were formally handed over today by Chief Conservator of Forests R.K. Jain. The saplings were received by the club’s Charter President Dr. Drishti Chhabra, Pooja Chhabra, Club President Vikram Aditya, Secretary Mohit Rajani, Warlene Kaur, and special guests Priyanka Kothari and Urvashi.
The plantation drive will take place at multiple locations across the city, including RR Dental College, and other areas identified as in need of greenery. The local residents of these areas will be entrusted with the responsibility of nurturing and maintaining the saplings, ensuring the longevity of the plantation initiative.
This step by Rotary Club Drishti is a strong contribution toward sustainable urban development and environmental awareness.
